The selected candidate will establish network information requirements in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure (CAN, WAN). Designs architecture to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. They will analytically and systematically evaluate problems of workflows and network usage and develop appropriate corrective action.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\nOversee the integration of a proprietary cyber training network environment\nConfigure and support internal or external networks\nDocument network events, to include network diagrams, and proactively seek solutions to outages, etc.\nSupport the design, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of a wide variety of network routers, switches, firewalls, and IDS/IPS devices\nMaintain all systems, applications, security, and network configurations, troubleshoot network performance, and coordinate repairs covered by third–party vendor maintenance agreements\nTravel as needed to support FSE responsibilities outside the local area\nRequirements:\n5+ years of experience in a broad range of technical task assignments directly related to the primary responsibilities, including:\n\n - Establishing Layer 1 connectivity between networking devices (Cat 5 and fiber)\n\n - Troubleshooting Layer 1 connections with Fluke or optical testers\n\n - Working with media converters\n\n - Configuring TACLANEs, especially the KG-175 series\n\nIAT Level II Security Certification (Security + CE or GSEC or SSCP or CCNA-Security)\nActive TS/SCI clearance\nCisco router and switch experience\nMicrosoft Visio experience\nAbility to work independently\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in a related field\nHelp Desk ticketing experience\nJuniper experience\n\nAbout us: We are Command Post Technologies, Inc.
