Radiologic Technologist

Summary We are seeking a Radiological Technologist to assist the clinical team with operation of c-arm during vascular access procedures, maintaining a sterile field and providing support during pre and post procedures. As part of the team, you will be integral to delivering high-quality medical to patients in our Access Center. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates C arm and maintains appropriate imaging to support clinical care. Advocates for safe patient care during procedures, alerting the physician of any complications. Maintains the entire sterilization process including cleaning items, maintaining logs, machine maintenance. Maintain and order needed medical supplies, assist with contracts with vendors, ensure minimal and maximum supplies. Receives and restocks supplies. Properly positions patients and imaging equipment prior to procedures. Assists with injected contrast during procedures. Creates and maintains reports regarding patient data and radiologic treatment records. Scrub in with physician and utilization of knowledge skills and of patient, reviewing of films and collaboration with surgical team to ensure safe patient care. Setting up of the surgical suite and cleaning post procedures. Complies with all radiologic safety regulations and provides in services to team, maintenance of radiation badges.
