Automation/Mechatronics/Controls Engineers specify, design, build, program, and implement tools, equipment, and solutions to give the operations and sales teams what they need to be the best in the industry.\nThis position is based in our Corsicana, TX fabrication facility where we are automating our current manufacturing processes. Experience a balance of design and planning work in the office and implementation and support in the shop. Work both independently and in collaboration within the remote Manufacturing Projects Team and onsite Maintenance and Fabrication Teams.\nEssential Duties\nOptimization of current manufacturing processes\nImplementation of new manufacturing processes utilizing automated equipment.\nRobotic, CNC, and automated manufacturing equipment specification, procurement, implementation and support.\nDesign and build new equipment.\nMaintain and improve existing equipment.\nProcure tools and equipment.\nDocument and organize all projects worked on.\nCollaborate with Remote Projects team for existing equipment and future projects\nSupport operations and company initiatives.\nPerform other tasks as needed.\nBase Qualifications and Competencies\nEducation: Qualified candidates will possess, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.\nExperience: 5 – 10 years.
