Night Shift Lead / Forklift DriverChallenger PalletChallenger Pallet is looking for a dependable Night Shift Lead / Forklift Driver to oversee a small crew operating a pallet nailing machine and performing other production tasks. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working independently, keeping production on track, and leading by example.Position OverviewThe Night Shift Lead works with a small team to safely and efficiently produce pallets during evening operations. This role includes operating a forklift, supporting the nailing machine, and serving as the primary point of responsibility on shift.ScheduleNight shift 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Monday through Thursday (4) 10-Hour ShiftsFull-time Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support a small production crew on night shiftOperate a forklift to move materials and finished palletsAssist with and monitor pallet nailing machine operationsEnsure production goals, quality standards, and safety procedures are metPerform basic troubleshooting and communicate issues to managementMaintain a clean and organized work areaOversee all operations during the evening shiftReport to Plant Manager daily.QualificationsForklift experience required (certification preferred)Bilingual in English and Spanish is requiredPrior manufacturing, pallet, or lumber industry experience strongly preferredLeadership or lead experience is a plusAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safetyAble to lift, stack, and work in a physical production environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceSmall-team environment where your role mattersOpportunity to take ownership of the shift
