The focus is to facilitate kaizen (change activities), contribute to the site’s JOS Improvement Committees (QIC, TIC, MIC), and lead and support high-impact value stream improvement plans and projects.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPropose and implement process improvements that impact positively on the site's operational performanceIdentify opportunities for reducing costs and improving productivity while coordinating the implementation of these improvementsCoordinate the development of VSM's, Kaizen workshops, time-based standard work as requestedCoordinate the site’s Lean CouncilAdvance the site’s Lean capability and maturity (Jabil Lean KPIs)Contribute to the site’s progress with Jabil Maturity Assessment (JMA)Serve as a key member of the site’s JOS TIC; lead the OEE and OLE KPIsCollaborate with Workcell Managers to develop and sustain the JOS management systemCollaborate with the Operations people-leaders to sustain 6S & Eureka (employee suggestion program)Plan and Facilitate Kaizen events and lead LSS/CI projects as assignedCoach & Mentor employees to achieve their Bronze or Green Belt Certification objectivesApply, educate, promote, and spread culture in the use of lean manufacturing and six sigma toolsMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
