Optician

Immediate position available for full time dispensing optician within a relaxed and friendly optometric practice in the Suwanee area. Licensed and/or ABO-Certified preferred. We are looking for a professional with a strong work ethic, friendly demeanor and a positive attitude to join our team. We strive in providing quality eye care and superior products tailored to meet each patient’s visual and eye health needs. We are a full scope optometric practice. Primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Frame board management and maintaining inventory Experience with edging and in-office finishing of lenses Assisting patients with frame selection Educating patients on latest trends in lens materials and design Discussing vision plan benefits and its contribution to frames and lens materials Ordering jobs through our laboratory accounts Frame adjustments, PD and segment height measurements, verification of prescription lenses Excellent communication skills and a desire to educate our patient-base on eyewear Vision plan filing, customer/patient service, answering phone calls, and scheduling patients General housekeeping such as taking out trash daily, cleaning, sweeping/mopping/dusting Salary will be based on experience.
