Production Planner - 2+ years experienceOperations / Planning TeamThis is a 3-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in New York, NY.SummaryThe Production Planner will play a key role in forecasting and demand planning to support operational efficiency and ensure accurate alignment between sales, marketing, and supply chain functions. This role helps maintain smooth production planning processes while the team transitions due to a recent departure. There is potential for this role to convert to a permanent position.Our Ideal Candidate2–3 years of experience in demand planning or production planning Passion for operations and supply chain management with a strong foundation in forecasting and data analysis Proficient in Excel and related planning tools, with strong analytical and organizational skills Familiar with SAP/APO or similar demand planning systems Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional partners such as sales, finance, and supply chain Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and timelines Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail Job DescriptionIn this role, you will manage demand planning and forecasting to ensure production and supply strategies align with organizational goals.You’ll partner with sales, finance, marketing, and supply planning teams to review historical data, analyze trends, and refine forecast models. This includes facilitating planning meetings, reconciling variances, maintaining demand planning systems, and producing reports.You will also be responsible for monitoring forecast accuracy, refining planning methodologies, and supporting cross-functional knowledge sharing to continually improve forecasting processes and ensure the company meets customer demand.Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Background in statistics, forecasting, or demand planning Knowledge of SAP/APO preferred Advanced Excel and system skills required Additional RequirementsPlease include a current resume when applying.This opportunity is located in New York, NY and requires on-site work Monday–Friday from 10am–6pm.The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $27-$29.90.
