This position oversees daily quality operations, supports the execution of the plant’s Quality Assurance System, and ensures alignment with SKF Group policies, customer requirements, and industry standards such as AS9100.\n\nYou will lead and develop a team of quality technicians and inspectors, guide containment and problem solving activities on the shop floor, and maintain strong partnerships across production, engineering, and supply chain. This role requires a balance of hands on oversight, disciplined process management, and the ability to translate complex quality requirements into practical, sustainable practices. Quality Supervisor ensures that quality is embedded into every stage of manufacturing and that the organization continuously improves its performance and customer satisfaction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nA. Quality Operations & Oversight\nManage Incoming Quality Inspection and support factory based Supplier Quality activities.\nSupervise End of Line (EOL) inspection resources, processes, data collection, and shop floor level problem solving efforts across production lines.\nLead and coordinate shop floor process containment activities to address nonconformances quickly and effectively.\nMaintain resources and oversight of the Records Room, including process improvements to meet specialized documentation requirements.\nEnsure all products meet internal Quality System requirements and customer reliability standards.\nProvide training and training materials to other departments as needed.\n\nB. Quality Systems, Compliance & Documentation\nLead and maintain certification to the AS9100 standard and associated programs.\nDirect ongoing review and improvement of the Quality System, including updates to procedures and documentation.\nLead all customers, SKF, and external Quality System audits; ensure documentation is accurate and audit ready.\nOversee creation of Certificates of Conformance and ensure robust, compliant processes.\nMaintenance of Core Documents such as PFMEA, Control Plans, Single Point Lessons\n\nC. Customer & Supplier Quality\nManage factory returns, including customer complaints (TERs, DERs), RGAs, and Vendor returns.\nReview customer feedback to identify trends and determine areas requiring Quality System emphasis.\nCommunicate with internal team members and suppliers to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.\nSupport the Customer and Vendor Manager in establishing inspection standards that meet company requirements\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience and specialized training may be considered.\n5–7 years of relevant Quality Assurance experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.\nBroad and in depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control methods, and related technologies.\nBasic data analysis skills are recommended.\nStrong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.\nEligible to work in the US\n\nWhat You’ll Love About SKF:\nRest and Relaxation.
