We are currently seeking a passionate Facilities Engineer/Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will manage and facilitate facility-related projects while promoting operational efficiency across our multiple locations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport all facets of Carfair's facilities initiatives, including business case creation, project management, budget preparation, and presentations.\nLead and manage several projects concurrently to ensure timely execution within budget constraints.\nAssist in lease negotiations for Carfair facilities, ensuring the company’s interests are best represented.\nMaintain accurate CAD layouts for all facilities and manage improvement projects as assigned.\nFacilitate the specification and installation of capital and equipment upgrades.\nSupport Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Tooling Engineering teams as needed.\nDrive lean manufacturing initiatives related to facility improvements.\nFoster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.\nAdapt to shifting priorities to help keep projects on track and deadlines met.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field; relevant work experience will also be considered.\nProject Management Certification and Lean Certification, or applicable equivalent work experience.\n2-5 years of project management experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel for project analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.\nFamiliarity with reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings.\nBasic understanding of Oracle is essential.\nEffective team collaboration skills with strong communication and presentation abilities.\nExperience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and facility-related project management tools.\nWillingness to travel < 25% to Carfair facilities in the US and Canada.\nBenefits\nWHY JOIN OUR TEAM:\nDay 1 benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability programs.\n401k eligibility\nThe ability to advance your career with a growing company.\nEmployee development through a variety of training initiatives.\nWe enjoy numerous employee events throughout the year.\nWe exist to move people.
