Dual responsibilities as front desk and technician.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Collect information for exam; including, operating pre-testing equipement, collect initial patient intake, gathering medical history and updating electronic health records (EHR).\n* Checking in patients, verifying insurance information, collecting insurance co-pays, answering phones, scheduling patients, answering insurance questions.\n* Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits.\n* Proven ability to deliver excellent patient service with compassionate direct care skills.\n* Prior experience working in a medical office setting or optometry clinic is highly preferred but not required.\n* Familiarity with medical terminology related to eye anatomy and physiology enhances patient assessments.
