Candidates who choose to live outside the local area are expected to provide their own housing and transportation for projects located within the local work radius.Role SummaryThe Drywall Finisher at Higgins Group, Inc. works within our Commercial Walls and Ceilings Division, supporting business, institutional, and large-scale construction projects. This role is responsible for producing smooth, seamless wall and ceiling finishes that are ready for final paint or coatings, while maintaining our standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.Core ResponsibilitiesPrepare and finish drywall surfaces to meet client and industry quality standardsIdentify and correct imperfections including cracks, seams, and surface irregularitiesInstall corner bead and reinforcement materialsPrepare surfaces for final paint or coatingsFollow OSHA and company safety policiesMaintain clean and organized job sitesCoordinate with leadership and project teamsCommunicate progress and material needsMentor less experienced finishersRequired Qualifications & Conditions Of EmploymentMust provide and maintain personal drywall finishing toolsAbility to perform physical job duties Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfacesMust pass UA/PCP drug and alcohol screeningEmployment contingent on E-Verify authorizationMust comply with safety policiesPreferred Qualifications4+ years drywall finishing experienceAbility to work safely on drywall stiltsExperience in fast-paced environmentsStrong attention to detailSalary: $22 - $30 per hourJob Posted by ApplicantPro
