SummaryC2 ALASKA, LLCBethesda, MDTHIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARDThe Electrical Engineer shall provide electrical engineering support for infrastructure systems, modernization, and compliance activities supporting the Uniformed Services University Health Sciences campus.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical consultation for electrical infrastructure repair and modernization projectsDevelop Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Statement of Work (SOW) documents and estimatesSupport project meetings and serve as technical representativeReview Architecture and Engineering (A/E) drawings for compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and National Electrical Code (NEC)Perform commissioning and system testingSupport construction ensuring UFC and NEC complianceSupport maintenance of power distribution systems, generators, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), lighting and fire alarm systemsConduct power quality and load studies using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Provide analysis reports on system performance and capacityOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum five (5) years relevant experienceMinimum five (5) years’ design/consulting experiencePreferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience with DoD or healthcare facilitiesSuccessfully pass background and drug screeningKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesKnowledge of NEC, NFPA, UFC standardsAbility to perform electrical analysisPossess strong reporting skillsPossess strong communication skillsPhysical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
