With opportunities for growth and advancement, a supportive and inclusive work culture, and the chance to work on exciting and impactful projects, Centrillion is the place for those passionate about genetics and biotechnology.\n\nJob Description\n\nDirect research, development, testing and implementation of technologies and semi/automated manufacturing processes using integrated fluidic and microlithography platforms.\n\nSpecification and procurement of manufacturing components, materials, reagents, and systems.\n\nEvaluate performance of components and systems; analyze and summarize data.\n\nProcure, calibrate and maintain pilot production tools, instruments, and systems for automation.\n\nCoordinate operations in R&D and pilot operations.\n\nLead process development on lab scale, optimize best process flow and material system for optical performance and scalability.\n\nCollaborate with scientists and engineers in other disciplines.\n\nManage proof‑of‑concept projects by facilitating technical discussions, linking knowledge across multidisciplinary teams.\n\nProvide operational support for downstream testing of manufactured products.\n\nDocument work; analyze data; report and present results.\n\nEnsure all manufacturing engineering activities are accurately described in written documents which comply with cGMP or equivalent quality systems.\n\nParticipate in strategic planning to integrate research and development processes with the unit and the Product Business Group’s overall business plan.\n\nRequirements\n\nBS/MS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.\n\n2+ years relevant industry experience in manufacturing process development.\n\nStrong working knowledge, and preferably hands‑on laboratory experience in chemistry and materials science.\n\nExperience in wafer manufacturing process development in the semiconductor / microelectronics industry and clean‑room operations.\n\nWorking knowledge of technologies for nucleic acid synthesis, sequence analysis or diagnostics is a plus.\n\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a permanent basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.\n\nThe expected salary range for this position is between $70,000 to $85,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Centrillion considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, position level and geographical location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
