{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"bce8e29ede88fc8b3393dd3b","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/bce8e29ede88fc8b3393dd3b","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/bce8e29ede88fc8b3393dd3b","title":"Design & Analysis Engineer 5","description":"Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Design & Analysis Engineers (Level 5) for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.\n\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):\n\nBachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.\n\n14+ years of relevant experience.\n\nPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nUnderstand and apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts.\n\nDevelop, document and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirements.\n\nDevelop statement-of-work and technical performance specifications.\n\nAnalyze, translate and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle.\n\nTest and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.\n\nResolve product integration issues and production anomalies.\n\nInvestigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements and for potential application to company business needs.\n\nMonitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.\n\nDevelop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.\n\nDesign hardware, software and interface specifications.\n\nSolve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):\n\nExperience in the Aerospace Industry.\n\nExperience using good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment.\n\nExperience within a design/build or test team.\n\nExperience creating, developing, and/or maintaining engineering processes.\n\nExperience with electronic/electrical system designs or test based on requirements.\n\nStrong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architecture.\n\nREQUIRED EDUCATION\nMinimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.\n\nTRAVEL\nPotential for very minimal domestic travel.\n\nWORK HOURS\nFULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.\n\nADDITIONAL\nApplicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
