This might be the right next role for you if you have:\nEducation and Experience:\nRequired:\nMaster’s Degree in mental health profession and 2 years direct client work experience in a related field.\nExperience working with mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues.\nIn collaboration with various County services, experience working with systems to meet requirements of the Agency and contracts.\nExperience working in an outpatient Medi-Cal program.\nPreferred:\nSocial work or marriage and family therapist license in the state of California\nThe individual will preferably be bilingual and bicultural.\nRequired:\nKnowledge of case management, group and individual counseling, and linkage‐referral.\nClinical knowledge and expertise within scope of practice in group and individual therapy.\nEmpowerment, advocacy and support techniques for victims/survivors of violence, people with mental illness.\nWhat You'll Be Doing in the role of Clinical Program Supervisor:\nProvides over-site of the day-to-day operation and provides direct supervision of staff, as assigned. Assists with hiring, performance evaluation and progressive disciplinary actions. Participates in the supervision and evaluation of service delivery quality and content.\nMeets individual monthly productivity requirement, based on program needs and prior approval of Director.\nEnsures Agency policies and procedures are followed including the crisis line protocols.\nCoordinates and ensures staff and the program’s daily activities are completed efficiently.\nReviews charts on a weekly bases with Case Manager/Clinical Coordinator to ensure audit ready charts.\nMonitors and supports staff compliance with documentation standards. Reviews, evaluates and cosigns, where applicable, service documentation.\nProvides direct services, as needed and performs involuntary hospitalization assessments and arranges for hospitalization, if necessary, may serve as an expert witness in court cases.\nProvides professional development mentoring for staff, as well as, new employee orientation training, when required.\nProvides coverage for Program Manager, as needed, including facilitate team meetings in a strength based manner.\nClinical supervision will encompass all aspects of mental health service: (e.g., intake/assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning.\nConsistently uses strength-based and solution focused problem-solving skills.\nConsult with other staff on clinical issues as needed providing support with treatment interventions, documentation, case management, consultation and case closing.\nProvide coverage for co-signing or clinical supervision as need.\nEnsure productivity targets are met and if needed effective improvement plans are developed.\nEnsure that tracking tools are kept up and maintained for: EMR, SRD’s, UR, all outcome/surveys, training of staff in Evidence Based Practices, productivity etc.\nUtilizes Avatar and other reports to monitor the consistent and timely completion of required chart documents including, but not limited to, treatment plans, assessments, and outcome and evaluation tools.\nMonitor caseloads to track client visits, duration of services and ensure clinical program notes are up to date.\nEnsure adherence to contracts deliverables and outcomes.\nResponds to phone calls and emails within 24 hours on business days. Resolve outstanding issues collaboratively using strength-based solutions focused approach.\nWork collaboratively with other Agency divisions.\nMaintains excellent customer service skills with internal and external customers.\nPromotes cultural awareness and competence. Maintains professional standards regarding client rights.\nDemonstrates an understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality laws and policies, and assures the highest degree of confidentiality in the implementation of all responsibilities and duties.\nMay be needed to participate in on-call and after-hours rotation, as needed. Flexible schedule may be required to work some evenings and weekends.\nFrequent travel is required.\nSuccessfully completes all training requirements for this position to ensure agency and contract compliance.\nEmployee must have the ability to operate their personal or Agency motor vehicle to participate in client visits, provide daily transportation of clients and/or another assigned Agency business.\nPerforms first aid as needed based on training and certification.\nCurrent California Licensure from the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
