Work closely with the team to bring in training opportunities and identify areas for professional growth.\nRespond to emergency and priority situations such as safety and security measures..\nResolve grievances and complaints, crisis, and troubleshoot incidents. Implementation of program policies and procedures. Ensure overall policies, procedures, and practices are in line with respective funding sources and with HTM's goals and values.\nEnsure programs are effective and deliver desired outcomes through data compliance by entering all key HMIS data entry points to assure the meeting of Key Performance Indicators as aligned with the program requirements.\nOperate within program and facility budgets and spending.\n\nClinical Oversight and Supervision\nProvide direct clinical supervision to Mental Health Professionals in accordance with licensure standards and requirements.\nEnsure ethical, compliant, and effective delivery of mental health services including assessments, crisis intervention, and care coordination.\nSupport staff with case consultation, documentation review, and clinical decision-making.\nProvide individual and team supervision (clinical and administrative) through structured supervisions and ongoing, to support growth and accountability of direct service staff.\n\nMental Health Services Integration\nOversee and support delivery of mental health services including crisis intervention, suicide risk assessments, safety planning, psychoeducation, and coordination with DMH, DHS, and external behavioral health partners.\n\nGovernment, DMH, and Community Engagement\nServe as primary program representative to DMH, LA County, and community stakeholders.\nParticipate in monitoring visits, audits, and interdisciplinary meetings.\nEnsure contract compliance and accurate reporting.\n\nReports and Contract Compliance\nReview and authorize program and contract reports prior to submission.\nReview and clarify contract scope and services to staff.\nPerform periodic internal audits.\nAttend all monitoring site visits and work closely with the Regional Director to ensure compliance of Program Facility Standards.\n\nCommunication Skills\nEnsure all communication is responded to within 24 hours, maintaining high standards of professionalism and reliability.\nProficient in various communication methods, including email, face-to-face discussions, written correspondence (letters and memos), and telephone interactions.\n\nRequired Skills and Core Competencies\nStrong clinical judgment, leadership, crisis intervention, de-escalation skills, and documentation proficiency.\nAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams in high-acuity environments.\nProficient in HMIS, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.\nAbility to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nDeescalation interventions.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively.\n\nConflict Resolution\nSkilled in de-escalation techniques to effectively handle conflict situations, including interactions with unpleasant or angry individuals.\nExperienced in resolving conflict situations with professionalism, fostering positive outcomes even under challenging circumstances.\n\nDecision-Making and Leadership\nMake frequent, impactful decisions affecting co-workers, clients, and team operations.\nCoordinated and led teams to achieve program goals and fostered collaboration among staff members.\n\nClient Interaction\nExperienced in working directly with unhoused clients, providing support and resources to meet their needs.\nSuccessfully collaborated with diverse work groups and teams to deliver high-quality services.\n\nQualifications and Mandatory Requirements\nMaster’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field required.\nActive California licensure required (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC). Minimum of two years post-licensure experience required.\nMinimum of two years of experience in behavioral health or mental health services, preferably with individuals experiencing homelessness or co-occurring disorders.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\nSupervisor roles in homeless services or DMH-funded program experience are strongly preferred.\nExperience with mobile crisis response teams and providing trauma-informed care is preferred.\nValid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.\nAbility to pass a background check and drug screening.\nCommitment to the mission and values of HTM, including a focus on harm-reduction and housing-first principles.\nPassion for working in a high tolerance harm reduction model with individuals who have multiple barriers.\nExperience working with highly vulnerable individuals who are experiencing homelessness, severe mental illness, substance addiction and medical barriers.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS, ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS, EQUIPMENT\nThe physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the job's essential functions.
