Pharmacy Technician

Job Description We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to became a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a Pharmacist. The services will be performed in the Health Services Department of FMC Fort Worth, located at 3150 Horton Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76119Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day between 7:30am to 4:00pm excluding Federal Holidays, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch. 40 hours per week.Responsibilities:Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patientsMeasure dosage of medications, according to prescription ordersProcess prescriptions using computer softwareLabel and record dosage informationMonitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies​Qualifications:Previous experience in pharmacy and related fieldsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsCurrent CPR certificationCertified by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (NPTC)Pay & Benefits:​$20.87 per hour w/ an additional $5.09 per hour for Health & Welfare. Think of it as $26.87 per hour. The H&W is used to purchase Medical Benefits, paid into a 401k or directly to you.
