The selected candidate for this position must be able to work 1st and 2nd shift assignments.\nKey Duties:\nDevelop manufacturing procedures using PDM data and systems engineering requirements within a standardized BDS manufacturing tool suite.\nExecute precision manufacturing techniques for spacecraft subsystems, including precision drilling, alignment, assembly, orbital tube welding, and tooling verification.\nTroubleshoot and resolve anomalies during flight vehicle manufacturing, supporting root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and material review board processes.\nProvide input to integrated master schedules, ensuring accurate forecasting, planning, and execution of defined work scope.\nContribute to the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency.\nCollaborate within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to integrate technical solutions and optimize manufacturing processes.\nDevelop, refine, and maintain conceptual designs, ensuring alignment with program architecture and build requirements.\nCreate and maintain manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to document as-built configurations.\nLead manufacturing activities, resolving technical challenges and ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards.\nSupport the adoption of new engineering principles, advanced technologies, and innovative manufacturing concepts.\nAssist in the application of Lean principles and process improvements to enhance production efficiency.\nEngage with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs, and internal teams to drive innovation, skill development, and industry collaboration.\n\nRequired Skills, Experience, and Education:\nDue to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.\nAbility to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use\nThis is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.\nThis position requires access to federal facilities. If you are unsure whether your ID is Real ID-compliant, please check for the star symbol in the upper portion of your driver's license or state ID.\nAbility to work any assigned shift (1st or 2nd) and overtime, if needed.\n5 or more years of experience in the aerospace industry.\nExperience leading the manufacturing of complex mechanical, fluid, or electrical systems.\nProficiency in generating installation and assembly work instructions using Model-Based Instructions (MBI) within a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or equivalent.\nStrong understanding of non-conformance management processes and corrective action implementation.\nProven ability to serve as a liaison between design engineering and production teams for mechanical and electrical hardware assemblies and installations.\nExperience developing job kits to drive part demand and align with the master production schedule.\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing best practices, standards, principles, and industry techniques.\nAbility to provide innovative technical solutions to complex manufacturing challenges requiring creativity and problem-solving.\nDemonstrated success in leading projects from initiation to completion, with experience in a project leadership role.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior personnel and cross-functional teams.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.\nDesired Skills, Experience, and Education:\nExperience supporting the Integrated Product Team in meeting schedules, performance, quality, cost avoidance, and savings.\nExperience in creating and updating parts allocation and demand in the Manufacturing Build of Material (MBOM).\nAbility to communicate technical manufacturing specifications and engineering assembly and installation instructions to technicians, quality inspectors, and other engineers in a clear and concise manner.\nFamiliarity with Lean principles.\nDemonstrated ability to write technical reports.\nExperience developing plans for released engineering using Boeing’s Manufacturing Execution System common image (MESci).\nExperience performing Root Cause Analysis.\nDegree obtained from an ABET-accredited program.\nBusiness Profile:\nCimarron is a global solutions company with a strategic partnering approach to satisfying customer-driven requirements.
