Our team is expanding, and we're looking for a skilled and reliable Security Technician to join our growing organization.\nWho You Are:\nThe Foreman manages installation crews performing access control, CCTV/IP video, intrusion, and related low-voltage security systems. This position coordinates workflow, assigns tasks, ensures proper material staging, and maintains strict adherence to safety and technical standards. The Foreman serves as the on-site authority for installation quality, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead, supervise, and support crews installing low-voltage security systems in mission-critical data center environments.\nPlan daily work activities, allocate labor, and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are properly staged.\nInstall, configure, test, and commission access control, CCTV/IP cameras, intrusion systems, and related devices.\nPerform quality control checks on terminations, device placement, labeling, cable routing, and system testing.\nTroubleshoot technical issues and coordinate solutions with engineering and project management.\nInterpret and enforce blueprints, riser diagrams, wiring schematics, and installation standards.\nMaintain compliance with OSHA, site-specific safety rules, and Flash Security procedures.\nCommunicate professionally with clients, general contractors, and other trades to maintain workflow and resolve field issues.\nComplete daily reports, redlines, checklists, and commissioning documentation.\nMentor and train junior technicians to develop skill sets and ensure consistent workmanship.\nWhat You Bring:\nRequired Qualifications\nProven experience leading crews in low-voltage, electrical, or electronic security installations.\nStrong technical knowledge of access control, CCTV/IP video, intrusion systems, and basic networking.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.\nProficiency with multimeters, cable testers, power tools, and termination/testing procedures.\nOSHA 30 and Aerial Lift Certification required.\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience working in data centers or other mission-critical facilities.\nStructured cabling and IP networking experience.\nManufacturer certifications (Lenel, CCure, Bosch, Axis, Honeywell, etc.).\nExperience coordinating with multiple trades and managing subcontractors.\nDemonstrated ability to train and develop junior technicians.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive salary based on experience.
