The ideal candidate will excel in providing superior underwriting and account support while thriving in a high-volume environment. If you are dedicated to meeting the needs of agents and achieving company goals with integrity and respect, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesUnderwriting SupportAssist Brokers and Underwriters with both new business and renewals, ensuring a smooth process.Renewal ManagementUnderwrite and quote a designated renewal book of business, adhering to assigned premium thresholds.Data CollectionReview and collect complete underwriting information from agents, including applications, loss histories, and submissions.Relationship BuildingDevelop strong working relationships with insurance carriers and agents to enhance collaboration.Insurance KnowledgeUtilize your understanding of commercial insurance coverages, markets, and underwriting practices.Account ServiceHandle day-to-day account service activities, including inquiries, endorsements, and issue resolution in a timely manner.Team SupportCollaborate with the Service Team on functions such as quote processing, delivery, binding follow-ups, inspections, and policy issuance.Client RetentionContribute to client retention efforts by participating in meetings, providing mentorship, and offering account backup as needed.System ProficiencyAccurately perform tasks in our agency management system, upholding our standards of product excellence.Additional DutiesUndertake other assigned tasks to support team objectives.Requirements:QualificationsExperienceMinimum of 4 years in Property & Casualty insurance brokerage or agency.EducationBachelor's degree preferred.Communication SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills to convey professionalism both internally and externally.Detail-OrientedResourceful, with critical thinking abilities and meticulous attention to detail.Organizational SkillsHighly organized, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.Positive AttitudeAbility to engage positively with various office personalities.AdaptabilityFlexible to changes in processes and procedures.Technical ProficiencyAbove-average computer skills with familiarity in relevant software.Team PlayerValues collaboration and appreciates constructive feedback.LicensingHolds an active Property and Casualty Producer License.AvailabilityWillingness to work regular core hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.Why Join WestPac?At WestPac, we offer a unique opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic work culture.
