CT Technologist (Outpatient Imaging)Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan (New York, NY) Practice Profile: Elite, private outpatient facility with a 50-year legacy of diagnostic excellence. Contract Length: 13 or 26 Weeks (Contract-to-Hire potential) Weekly Pay (Travel): Up to $2,850 Gross Weekly ($2,233 non-taxed stipend for qualifying travelers) Weekly Pay (Local): Up to $2,550 Gross Weekly Schedule: Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Four 9-hour shifts per week) Flexibility: Rotating Day Off | No Call | No Weekends | No HolidaysThe Location AdvantageLocated in the heart of the Upper East Side’s medical corridor, this center sits in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the world.Commuter Friendly: Excellent access via the Q and 6 subway lines, multiple bus routes, and proximity to the FDR Drive for those driving into the city.Vibrant Atmosphere: Steps away from the East River Esplanade and world-class coffee shops and bistros, perfect for your mid-day break.Expanded Responsibilities & WorkflowHigh-Precision Imaging: Operate GE CT scanners to produce cross-sectional radiographs for a diverse patient population (pediatric through geriatric).Volume & Pace: Manage a streamlined workflow with patients scheduled every 20–30 minutes, requiring a tech who is efficient without sacrificing patient care.Contrast Management: Independently perform intravenous contrast administration (Power Injector) and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.Technical Sovereignty: Act as a critical eye for quality, evaluating slice thickness and scan time to ensure the Radiologist receives optimal diagnostic data.Multi-Modality Integration: While CT is the priority, tech-forward candidates who are cross-trained in other modalities may have the opportunity to float and maintain their diverse skill set.Equipment & TechnologyHardware: GE High-Resolution CT Systems.Software: Royal Solutions for EHR/Worklist management and GE UV PACS for image archiving.Quality Control: Daily and weekly QA checks on equipment to ensure compliance with New York State Department of Health (DOH) regulations.Required QualificationsARRT (CT) Certification: Must be primary or post-primary certified in Computed Tomography.New York State License: Active NYS Radiologic Technologist license with Injection Authorization.Experience: At least 1 year of dedicated CT experience is preferred, specifically in a high-volume outpatient or hospital setting.Soft Skills: Must possess a \"patient-first\" mentality—comfortable communicating via intercom and providing a calming presence for anxious patients.Incentives & Interview ProcessTravel Reimbursement: Up to $700 total ($350 each way).Professional Uniform: A professional white lab coat is provided by the facility.Speed to Hire: A simple 2-step video interview process ensures a quick turnaround for qualified candidates.Target Start Date: June 1st, 2026 (but can be very flexible if needed)Are you ready to elevate your career at one of Manhattan’s most respected imaging centers?
