You’ll be part of a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive team that values your ideas and contributions.\n\nSummary:\nPrepares product for systems level assembly to include unpacking, set-up assembly, final packaging and repair as required.\nResponsibilities:\n\nAccesses the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment\nVerifies kits, enters Batch lot information, package and label accessory items according to documented instructions\nUses appropriate mats and all required tooling\nChecks equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to ensure proper performance\nUses manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision\nMay assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies\nNotifies leadership of any shut down situations\nEnters data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and link subassemblies to final unit\nEnters quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required\nAll employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.\nMentor and assist lesser qualified operators\nBuild subassemblies and add labels per manufacturing instructions and schematic drawings\nPerform systems integration specific hand solder and inspection operations per documented instructions\nPerform F-cert function to ensure final units have passed through all necessary operations\nPerform final inspection of unit to ensure there are no visible defects or finger prints and wipe down unit as needed\nAdd user manuals, accessory packs, cables, labels, etc. per documented instructions\nMay assist manufacturing engineering in basic prototype and pre-production builds\nUse manufacturing routings and process instructions under moderate supervision\nMentor other co-workers in assembly activities\n\nOther information:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of experience in basic SI assembly (new build lines, subassembly/final assembly(\nDemonstrate good component recognition skills\nUnderstanding of basic computer skills\nEffective interpersonal skills\nDemonstrate high attention to detail\nDemonstrate discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing the company\nAbility to support a 24/7 global business operation as required\nAbility to work overtime as needed\nAbility to work with diverse groups\nParticipate in a continuous improvement activity\nAbility to read, write and perform basic math\n\nThis position is classified as safety-sensitive because impairment while performing job duties could pose a significant risk of harm.
