The Associate Software Developer is accountable for designing, coding, testing, documenting, and implementing computer programs for new or existing programs of lower level of complexity.\n\nOur Associate Software Developer Team\n\nDevelop program specifications of low to moderate complexity, including design of screens and/or reports by working with the Project Lead/Management and/or end users, receiving and following instruction and direction.\n\nConvert mid-level project specifications into sequential, detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into computer processing language by creating flowcharts and/or pseudo-code where applicable.\n\nWork with Project Lead/Management or Sr Software Developer to assist on the larger and more complex projects which include all aspects of the project, by performing mid-level tasks.\n\nEliminate errors before moving project to Quality Assurance by testing and debugging programs.\n\nMaintain and enhance existing application programs by continually improving understanding of user's needs and how the system can better support the user.\n\nUnderstand current operating procedures by consulting with users and reviewing project objectives.\n\nComplete project assignments in a timely manner by receiving directions and project assignment priority from Project Leader/Management.\n\nEnsure a timely progression of project completion by coordinating testing activities, including test data and results, with Quality Assurance where needed.\n\nDevelop programs that run efficiently and adhere to TTI standards by minimizing excess overhead in applications and re-using code and coding techniques.\n\nEnsure long term maintainability of the system by documenting projects according to TTI guidelines.\n\nProvide resolutions to problems by taking the initiative to use all resources available for research.\n\nProvide programmer support on a 24-hour basis by participating in the after-hours On-Call rotation, and provide Day-to-Day programming/troubleshooting Support (POW) as needed.\n\nEducation and Experience Requirements\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.
