This role will partner closely with design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to deliver high-performing, scalable, and user-friendly digital experiences. This is a hands-on role focused on customizing and extending the Shopify ecosystem to support business growth, merchandising strategies, and customer experience improvements.\nThis is an onsite role requiring office days in our Headquarters in Providence, UT.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain custom Shopify Plus storefronts for multiple brands globally using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend technologies\nBuild and customize Shopify themes that align with brand standards, responsive design, accessibility standards, and user experience best practices\nCreate and maintain custom Shopify apps, integrations, and API connections with third-party systems\nOptimize website performance, page speed, SEO, A/B testing, and mobile responsiveness to improve customer experience and conversion rates\nCollaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable ecommerce solutions\nTroubleshoot and resolve bugs, production issues, and cross-browser compatibility problems in a timely manner\nImplement and manage integrations with ERP systems, CRMs, and marketing platforms\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following development and version control best practices\nManage Shopify app installations, configurations, and customizations while ensuring site stability and security\nParticipate in sprint planning, technical estimations, and Agile development processes\nConduct testing and quality assurance across devices, browsers, and operating systems before deployment\nStay current on Shopify platform updates, ecommerce trends, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and new capabilities\nRequirements:\n4+ years Shopify experience\nStrong knowledge of Liquid, Shopify’s templating language.\nExperience with the Shopify Online Store 2.0 architecture, including Sections, JSON templates, and dynamic content blocks.\nFamiliarity with Shopify APIs and the Storefront API for custom app or headless integrations.\nComfort working with Shopify themes, including theme customizations, version control (Git), and theme deployment processes.\nProficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Vue.js or React) for UI customization and performance optimization.\nExperience with Shopify Plus features such as Scripts, Launchpad, and Flow (if applicable).\nProficiency with web site accessibility requirements.
