Rooftop Cinema Club Attendant - Seasonal

Job DescriptionThe RCC Attendant will be responsible for providing efficient, friendly guest service at the Rooftop Cinema Club, including preparing and serving cocktails, canned beverages, and food in a concession-style format. The RCC Attendant supports the overall guest experience through setup, cleanliness, and knowledge of both food and beverage offerings. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.Perks And BenefitsCompetitive pay & a Comprehensive Benefit Package.Other benefits include Health Saving Account, Flexible Saving Account, Employee Assistance Program.Annual Education AllowanceGenerous Referral ProgramFun & collaborative company culture with lots of team building eventsFriends and Family rates for Level Hotels & Furnished Suites, The Opus Hotel, and The Emily HotelWhat Will You Do?Available to work a variety of hours including evenings, weekends, and holidaysCommunicate effectively with team members and management Warmly greet and assist guests with a friendly and accommodating demeanor Prepare and serve cocktails, canned beverages, and food menu items accurately and efficiently Accurately record orders, process payments, and reconciles sales per shift using POS systemSupport bussing, food running, and restocking duties as needed to maintain flow of service Set up and break down of the rooftop cinema concessions area and seating before and after each showing Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all service stations, tools, and guest-facing areas throughout the shiftProactively communicate low stock or equipment needs to managementMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies and service procedures Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic selections, glassware and garnishes Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, major ingredients, and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish, and method of presentation. Work in compliance with state liquor laws and service standards, including refusal of service to intoxicated guestsMaintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment, and use equipment only as intended. Provide assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel.Key Responsibilities& DutiesEnsure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests’ needsGreet guests with a warm, sincere smileUse tact and good judgement when dealing with guest challenges and respond to guest needs with patience and courtesySafely and properly change kegs, CO2 tanks and soda dispensersManually wash and sanitize glassware and bar tools as neededMaintain a clean and orderly service station and rooftop environmentAccount for and maintain the security of all bar stock and inventoryUnderstand and respond knowledgeably to questions about the restaurant and menuUse sales techniques and present and encourage current promotions to guestsFollow all steps of serviceUnderstand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictionsProficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment, including the POS systemComply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and proceduresSuccessfully complete alcohol awareness trainingFollow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee HandbookGet along well with others and be a team playerOther duties will be assigned as neededWhat You Bring?Minimum 2 years experience in a fast paced bar and/or restaurant preferred.+21 years of age due to preparation and serving of alcohol1+ year of experience in food or beverage service preferredHigh School diploma or GED preferredPassion for hospitalityAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsBasic knowledge of beer, wine, and batched cocktails preferredSalary Range$16.75 / HourlyAbout The CompanyOnniFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
