The Publisher Rules engineering team is developing features which allow our publishers to define and enforce advertising restrictions on their inventory and communicate those restrictions to prospective advertisers. We are looking for creative and thoughtful software engineers to collaborate with their peers in creation of solutions for our publishers.\n\nThis Austin-based team is focused on:\n\ndesigning, implementing, deploying, and supporting globally-available user interfaces and APIs for our publisher partners to use to define restrictions on their ad inventory and products\ncreating low-latency solutions to evaluate and enforce these restrictions during real-time ad bid flow, partnering closely with the publisher ad serving teams within Amazon\ncollaborating with other Amazon advertising teams in policy/rules-based technical solutions.\nsupporting publisher SDEs in integration with our rules\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience programming with at least one software programming language\nExperience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers\n3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience\nExperience in debugging, profiling, and implementing software engineering best practices in large-scale systems\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nKnowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence\nExperience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems\nExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design\n\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\n\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
