I’m a New England transplant who values direct communication, dry humor, and people who believe the harder we work, the luckier we get.Staying connected to regulars, understanding systems, and listening to real-time feedback from coworkers are essential to smooth operations. We anticipate needs, plan events, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.To keep your finger on the pulse, you’ll maintain a presence on the floor. A consistent weekly bartending shift is available, and occasional coverage may be necessary. Pickup shifts only can be discussed.Our primary responsibility is supporting the bartenders — they are the frontline, the face of the business, and the revenue drivers.Supported and happy bartenders → happy returning customers → healthy bar.WHAT YOU’LL DO• Act as operational co-captain alongside ownership with equal status and earned respect• Maintain structure, systems, and accountability with humor and grace• Support scheduling, ordering, inventory, and payroll processes• Notice and communicate friction points and help refine solutions• Jump in where needed — sometimes fixing a toilet, sometimes calling the plumberHOW WE LEADBy example.We practice honest, supportive leadership.
