This role provides technical support and advises on the use of programming tools, database systems, and networks.\nOperational responsibilities include remediation of daily incident tickets, system compliance, system run enhancement, testing, staging, policy/procedure enhancement, client contact coordination, and operational recommendations to address availability and reliability issues on Linux systems.\nCore Responsibilities\nSystems Administration & Support\nProvides Systems Administration support for an organization, functional unit, or line of business, building on responsibilities such as:\nAdministers development, test and production servers, including reloading, re-imaging and debugging problems.\nInstalls, removes, and upgrades software packages on test, development, and production servers.\nMonitoring & Troubleshooting\nPerforms daily monitoring of network systems, independently initiating proactive measures to ensure functionality, connectivity, and load balance.\nTroubleshoots systems and host environments, identifying and resolving faults, inconsistencies, and systemic issues.\nEvaluates, recommends, and implements solutions to ensure systems functionality and compliance with company standards.\nDocumentation & Compliance\nProvides network and systems evaluation and operational reports.\nUpdates systems records and ensures maintenance of accurate information.\nEnsures computer programs in company use are properly licensed, adhere to company standards, and are operational and functional.\nTraining & Knowledge Transfer\nAssists systems users by creating instructional how-to guides and by providing technical information and training.\nYou will be successful in this role if you have:\nBA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.\nWorking expertise in Linux systems administration.\nStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.\nU.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required.\n#LI-JV1\nThis role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
