As a locum gastroenterologist, you will handle endoscopies, manage GI bleeds, and evaluate a variety of gastrointestinal problems. The facility is equipped to support you with a robust admissions team and interventional radiology available during weekdays, ensuring patients receive timely and effective care.Schedule and Assignment DetailsExpect a schedule consisting of 24-hour call shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., with a requirement to cover three consecutive shifts. The assignment begins with a single coverage date in May, with ongoing opportunities starting July 2026. This schedule allows for flexibility and the opportunity to engage in focused, uninterrupted patient care. Weekend call coverage is expected, providing a chance to immerse yourself fully in the locum experience.Support and Work EnvironmentYou will be supported by a dedicated team, including registered nurses and a call team for endoscopic procedures.
