Our operations involve complex coordination across production facilities, government contracts, and supply chain partners.Position OverviewAlmack Liners Inc. is a U.S. manufacturer producing Berry Amendment–compliant apparel for U.S. military programs and commercial markets. We are seeking an Operations Manager with experience in manufacturing, logistics, or defense supply chains to support daily operations, government contract compliance, and supply chain coordination.This role is hands-on and operational, working closely with production partners, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient execution of military and commercial programs.Experience with EDI systems (SPS Commerce), government contracts, or apparel/textile manufacturing is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operational workflows across production, logistics, and administrative functionsCoordinate production planning with manufacturing partners and suppliersManage purchase orders, invoices, and vendor documentationSupport compliance requirements related to the Berry Amendment, FAR/DFARS, and government contractsMaintain operational tracking for orders, production schedules, and deliveriesInterface with accounting, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of contractsAssist with vendor management, reporting, and operational process improvementsSupport EDI transactions and order flow through systems such as SPS CommerceQualifications5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, logistics, or supply chain management requiredExperience working with government contracts, compliance documentation, or regulated industries preferredStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAdvanced proficiency with Excel and operational reportingExperience with ERP systems, EDI platforms (SPS Commerce), or manufacturing software is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environmentExperience working with U.S. military programs, defense contractors, or government supply chains is highly valued.Note: This role focuses on operational execution in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain experience are required.
