Physical Security. Our customers reside in the following business verticals: Commercial, State and Local Government, Education, and Federal Government – in which our sales teams are also aligned around.Our corporate headquarters is in Duluth, Georgia but we serve clients throughout the southeast, nation, and world.Role Overview: Sr. Account ExecutiveIn this critical and strategic role as a Sr. Account Manager, you are the glue between our customers and the organization. Your job is to partner, identify and align with our customers’ (new and old) needs with the focus to provide & pair them with the solutions Byteworks offers. You are looked at as the growth engine of your particular vertical of business. You are a key advisor to our internal teams with the goal of representing the needs of our customers, the industry and how to best go to market in your vertical and channel. This includes developing a clear and tactical route to market strategy for growing your business vertical.Key Responsibilities:Maintaining and developing client relationships & alignment – joint business planning, resource & business goal understandingBusiness vertical ownership and accurately articulating business state through forecasting, strategy development, key account feedback, industry trends, continuous network expansionBuilding a robust opportunity pipeline of both new & existing customersServing as a key customer consultant & advisor - acting as a point of contactContinuously growing account base through lead developmentOverseeing and leading the sales processAchieve and Exceed Targeted Sales GoalsSkills:Ability to manage and influence multiple opportunities/customers simultaneouslyAptitude to fit and affect change within a multi-dimensional cultureAbility to work independently and in a team environment is essentialDetail orientated with strong organizational skillsStrong comfort level with Excel and Power-PointEffective and timely verbal and non-verbal communication a mustAbility to collect, track, and analyze data - and report out on itAdaptability and strong critical thinking skillsExcellent active listening skillsAbility to build rapport, collaborate, and strong relationships with others – both within the company and externally.Willingness/eagerness to pick up phone & call prospects and generate new interest from people you've never talked to beforePersonality Traits:Proactive, positive, “Figure it out” attitudeDriven to Win & GrowTeam PlayerStrong sense of Business UrgencyFocused on continuously improvingAbility to think both strategically and tactfullyWork hard, Play hardDetail orientedRequired Education and Experience:Previous experience in Information Technology solutions preferredBachelor’s degree in Business or accumulated related field experienceMinimum of 5 years of business experience with 3 years of direct account management experience is requiredWork Environment:The job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting with occasional work in a home center type environment. Activities include extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer monitor.Travel:Approximately 25-35% travel mostly daily with some potential for overnight travel may be expected.
