Please review the details below and let me know if you would like to discuss further.Position: SAP FICO Solution ArchitectLocation: Libertyville, IL (Hybrid – Local candidates preferred)Salary Range: salary + Bonus (10–15%)Job Description:The SAP FICO Solution Architect will work closely with Finance business leaders to align SAP-based solutions with Finance strategies. The role involves designing and implementing SAP FICO solutions, collaborating with global delivery teams, and supporting users in adopting SAP S/4 HANA Finance and Controlling functions.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement financial solutions using SAP to enable accounting efficiency and accuracy.Facilitate workflows, integrations, customizations, and deployments.Partner with accounting teams for enhancements and new functionalities.Perform root cause analysis and optimize SAP system performance.Recommend SAP best practices for upgrades and releases.Prepare and maintain technical documentation.Experience & Skills Required:10+ years of progressive SAP S/4 HANA FICO experience (incl. 2+ years as Solution Architect).Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA (1809 and above) – solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, and post-go-live support.Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management for AP processing.Hands-on with Finance reporting, ABAP, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs.Knowledge of accounting principles, GL applications, and financial reporting.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent.Travel: Limited, to various VGC locations.If you are interested in this opportunity or know someone who may be a good fit, please feel free to reach out.Looking forward to your response.
