If making a lasting difference in someone's life is a priority for you and your career goals, then this is the job for you!Responsibilities and Duties:Ability to assist the people we support by promoting the development of functional skills, inclusion and individualization.Mentoring individuals to help build social skills and relationshipsAbility to assist the individuals we serve with all necessary basic daily living needs.Maintain accurate and timely record keeping and communication within program (e.g. incident reports, verbal reports, shift documentation).Provides transportation for residents to legal and medical appointments, activity outings, etc.Maintain a safe, comfortable and appropriate environment.Ability to participate in community activities with clientsCleaning and sanitizing homePreparing mealsRequirements:Must be able willing to work weekendsHigh school Diploma or GED required2 years group home experience/caring for individuals with disabilities1 year of Leadership experience/caring for individuals with disabilitiesDirect Support experience preferredBehavior Focus experience preferredMust pass level 2 background screeningAbility to truly make a difference in people's lives!
