The position will assist attorney(s) by providing support services including document preparation and review; communicating with clients, and other administrative duties related to the closure of the case.\nPrimary Tasks: Case Management\nLogging daily mail and drafting any correspondence necessary in the day-to-day case management\nBalance verifications\nAssistance with the resolution and protection of all subrogation lien interests\nPreparation of file for litigation transfer when necessary\nAssist Attorney with settlement paperwork and disbursements\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\nMeeting goals set by management\nCommunicating and corresponding with clients, Attorney, and insurance adjusters regarding case status\nConsistent client contacts\nWeekly reports\nMonthly team meetings\nAttend Quarterly Meetings (mandatory)\nRegular, consistent, punctual attendance.\nRequirements: Strong working knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to operate standard office equipment\nUnderstanding legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters.\nStandard clerical and general office administration procedures.\nHigh command of English grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling.\nExceptional interpersonal and customer service skills\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task while maintaining organization\nAbility to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.\nAttributes: High School Diploma or GED required\nThree to five years relevant work experience in related field\nPrefer Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate\nPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.\nThis job operates in a professional office environment.
