(PSI), located in Methuen, Massachusetts, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. As Imperia expands from cell-level battery development into complete battery system design, we are looking for an engineer who enjoys hands-on product development and wants to play a key role in designing next-generation battery systems.\n\nThis position offers the opportunity to work on the complete product development cycle, from concept and design through prototyping, testing, and validation. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop innovative battery systems for a variety of applications.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.\n3–5 years of relevant industry experience.\nExperience with hands-on electrical design, prototype build, integration, and testing.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\n\nRequired Experience\n\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in several of the following areas:\n\nMedium-voltage electrical design\nHigh-power switching circuits\nLow-power analog and digital circuit design\nPower electronics\nEmbedded firmware development\nBattery Management Systems (BMS)\nElectronic schematic capture\nPrinted circuit board (PCB) layout\nHardware debugging and laboratory testing\n\nPreferred Experience\n\nExperience with the following tools would be considered an advantage:\n\nOscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies / lab equipment.\nLTspice\nAltium Designer\nMS Office suite\n\nExperience with battery systems, lithium-ion batteries, or energy storage products is also desirable.\n\nTraining\n\nTraining will be provided in areas where additional knowledge is required.
