Wages will be increased by 25 cents per hour after successfully completing 90 days of employment.\nShifts Available and Hours:\nDayshift: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM eastern until 3:00 PM eastern.\nWhat you will be doing\nSafety First: Safety is the #1 priority and a condition of employment. Follow and enforce all plant-wide safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company guidelines to ensure the safety of all employees and protection of the environment.\nRetrieve wheeled racks and prepare them for loading.\nLoad trains and sheets according to production requirements.\nEnter materials into the heat treat process.\nSet ovens to the correct temperature and processing time based on specifications.\nIgnite and start ovens according to standard operating procedures.\nVerify oven operation to ensure proper function during the heat treat cycle.\nPerform hardness checks on unloaded materials to confirm quality standards.\nRecord hardness results and other required data on the production ticket and load sheet.\nPrint and manage production orders as needed.\nReturn LPL to the appropriate rack after processing.\nPlace completed racks in the designated staging area.\nOperate and rotate ovens as required for production flow.\nAttach oven charts to the corresponding load sheets and file them according to company procedures.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nWhat will make you successful?\nRequired Education/ Experience:\nNo High School Diploma or GED required.\nMust meet all minimal physical requirements.\nHigh involvement in floor activities.\nMust be certified forklift operator.\nMust be able to communicate effectively with subordinates, co-workers, supervisors, and managers in both written and verbal form.\nMust be able to understand and follow all instructions: both written and verbal.\nMust be able to work with other team members and departments.\nEqual opportunities\nHydro in North America is an Equal Opportunity Employer where all phases of employment are based strictly upon the qualifications of the individual as related to the work requirements of the position.
