Our Team, Your Impact Under close supervision, the Warehouse Operator I is responsible for accurate processing of materials to support companywide operations and for meeting the company’s standards for safety, security and productivity. Employees in this classification may be in a training capacity and do not require significant work experience in the applicable field. Shift details: second shift, starting at 11am Monday‑Friday (non‑negotiable). Shift duration varies between 8 to 12 hours, depending on operational needs. How You’ll Spend Your Day Essential areas of responsibility Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Prepares orders for shipping by picking, scanning and packing accurately and timely. Performs replenishment activities in a timely and efficient manner; compares product descriptions to restocking requests and physical location. Conducts cycle counts and physical inventory as required. Processes returns from customers; classifies back to stocks, damages, and expired products. Prepares debit memos to vendors. Operates hand lift and is able to be certified in power forklift operation. Loads and unloads freight trucks. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Maintains tidiness and cleanliness in the warehouse. Flexible, willing to work overtime when necessary. Your Skills and Experience Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements will be considered. Education/Certification/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Pharmaceutical distribution experience and/or experience with distribution of perishable goods. Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse work experience. Specialized knowledge of warehouse plans, methods, procedures, and techniques of material handling. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Training and coaching other warehouse personnel. Working as a team member; providing assistance and direction to team members, serving as a liaison between associates, leads, and management. Basic mathematical computations and applications. Willing to work overtime, report to work on time, and take on special projects and Saturdays. Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Adapting to changes and various assignments. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and promptness by using time efficiently and completing assignments on time. Physical Requirements Occasional Extended periods of standing, walking, pushing and pulling, stooping, crouching, climbing, and walking; occasional lifting of equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Exposure to electrical hazards, dangerous tools and equipment. Hands‑on position in a fast‑paced distribution center with multiple daily receiving and shipping deadlines, including early morning, evening, and/or weekend work hours as required. Visual Acuity Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
