In this role you will communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams actively (I.e. Product and Project Management, Development, Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance, and training teams) within waterfall, agile, SDLC methodologies and translate team specifications, designs and other artifacts into meaningful documentation for both the business and technical user on release enhancements, defect resolutions and product notifications.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nKnowledge of EDI transaction sets (e.g.,834,820,835, 837,999) and the business processes behind them\nUpdate test plan documentation to keep current with frequent requirement changes\nIdentify gaps or ambiguities in EDI requirements\nResearch, analyze, and understand data elements in EDI systems, as well as inbound and outbound vendor systems\nValidate mapping between internal systems and EDI formats (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON)\nEnsure correct translation of fields, segments, loops, qualifiers, and codes\nImprove content in response to feedback from cross -functional and colleagues in a timely manner\nAdapt quickly to new scenarios that require specific skill sets and have high levels of ambiguity\nHave experience in SQL experience (Oracle and/or DB2/Postgre SQL)\nExpertise in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured\nKnowledge of using Azure-DevOps(ADO) and JIRA\nStrong knowledge of QA methodology and process\nHave experience in defining test strategy spanning across multiple systems, writing test plans\n\nQualifications\nMinimum Requirements\n7+ years’ experience in EDI experience, specifically involving platform or system migrations.\nCritical Skills\nExperience with waterfall and agile SDLC methodologies\nNatural curiosity in synthesizing technical details into easily consumable information\nStrong oral and written communication skills required\nAttention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects\nSelf-motivated and results driven\nExcellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills\nEffectively communicate with all levels of the organization\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and technologies in a fast-paced environment\nQuick learner and self-starter, works well under pressure and timelines\nPositive attitude, can-do spirit, attention to detail, and passion for technical writing\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, to meet deadlines, and to simultaneously tackle and coordinate multiple projects\n\nAdditional Knowledge & Skills\n4-year bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is preferred\nExposure to Health care industry is a plus\nFamiliarity with multiple file types including csv, pipe-delimited, fixed-width, xlsx, etc.\nFamiliarity with file transfer protocols, specifically sFTP\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project\nFamiliarity with HIPAA compliance\nFamiliarity with adjudication systems is a plus\nExperience collaborating with offshore team\nFamiliarity in handling sensitive and confidential data\n\nFlexible Working\nAt Conduent, we value individuality and flexible working arrangements.
