Automotive/Bus TechnicianAutomotive/Bus Technician Job DescriptionWe're searching for a skilled Bus Technician to join our team. In this role, it will be your responsibility to resolve the Customer issues with their vehicle, complete internal and warranty repairs, plus install dealer equipment options. You will work directly with our Service Writer and Shop Foreman to gather information about the repairs needed. Then, you will use your expertise to inspect the vehicle and repair or diagnose the issue.To do well in this role, you will need to be both very knowledgeable about vehicles and have the mechanical skills needed to repair them. You should also be able to demonstrate professionalism in the workplace, as you will be interacting with our clients and fellow employees regularly.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of practical experience in vehicle maintenance and repairAble to perform preventative maintenance servicesProficient in the repair and diagnosis of: electrical systems, interior & exterior bus components, hydraulic systems, air systems, steering systems, HVAC systems, and brakesProficient in use of hand tools, power tools, and computer software.Basic computer skills to input vehicle maintenance records and utilize diagnostic softwareBe able to provide a detailed written analysis and computer input of the three C's (complaint, cause, correction) as well as details on any repairsAbility to meet physical demands of the job (job requires frequent lifting/moving up to 50lbs, climbing, stooping, kneeling, seeing, grasping, hearing, etc.)Ability to work effectively with minimal supervisionAbility to maintain predictable and reli
