All work to be done in accordance with production order, scheduling specifications and other accepted practices, procedures and safety rules.\n\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities\nObserve and follow safety rules as prescribed by the safety policy.\nCompletes an expected amount of work based on production line schedule and work instructions.\nAble to operate all necessary equipment in a proficient manner, including hand tools and overhead crane.\nCoordinates and cooperates with supervisors, lead person and co-workers to complete the required tasks by the required ship dates.\nComplete production runs without defects and with minimal waste.\nPerform in-process quality checks per Ammeraal Beltech standards\nHousekeeping and work area maintenance is completed per 6S guidelines.\nCollaborate with team members in change over, start-up and running production line\nAll other duties are completed as assigned.\nKnowledge and Skill Requirements:\nHigh school Diploma, GED, Technical/Trade School or equivalent experience preferred but not required.\nPrior manufacturing work experience in operating machinery and using various hand tools.\nAbility to read and comprehend production orders and work instructions written in English.\nAbility to operate an overhead crane to support production lines\nMust be able to work in the US\nCompetencies\nSolid problem solving identification\nDetail and task oriented\nExcellent communication and follow-up skills\nProfessional behavior and appearance\nStrong work ethic\nMust be able to read and write English\nKey Behaviors\nAre accountable to others\nHave the courage to challenge the status quo\nAre honest with co-workers and customers\nAble to be innovative problem solvers\nAre engaged team members\nAdd value to the Company\nExpects excellence of self and others\nOverserves top customers\nUnderstands, simplifies and acts to improve processes\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
