The role is pivotal in ensuring the protection of our data, systems, and infrastructure. The Director will develop and implement security strategies, manage security technologies, and oversee a team of security professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and a deep understanding of the unique security challenges in cloud engineering.This is an exciting opportunity within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!\nYour Role:\nDevelop and implement comprehensive security strategies\nLead and mentor a team of security engineers and security operations analysts\nCollaborate with executive leadership to align security initiatives with business objectives\nDesign, deploy, and manage security technologies and architectures\nConduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities\nOversee the implementation of technical security controls\nCollaborate with internal IT, engineering, and cloud operations teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the company's operations\nCommunicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders\nPartner with security GRC team to effectively identify and manage risk\nSkills & Requirements:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in information security or related fields.\nAt least 3 years in a leadership role within security engineering and operations\nProficiency in security tools and technologies, specifically within cloud infrastructure\nExcellent problem-solving skills\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nStrong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, HITRUST)\nEnterprise experience in application and cloud security\nCISSP Certification\nAWS Certified Security Certification\n\nModMed Benefits Highlight:\nAt ModMed, we believe it's important to offer a competitive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our growing workforce.
