Key Responsibilities Conducts scheduled and unplanned audits on medical record documentation, coding, and billing Mentors compliance staff and provides education on billing compliance Develops and implements corrective action plans and prepares responses to governmental audits Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in a related field Minimum of 7 years of related work experience One of the following certifications: CCS, CPC, RHIA, RHIT, or CPMA Experience in medical billing and coding Knowledge of compliance risk areas and federal payor billing compliance
