We are a leading telecommunications company seeking a dedicated Tower Tech III to join our team.\n\nExperienced Tower Tech III responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment on cellular towers and other elevated structures. This position requires advanced technical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work safely at heights.\n\nEssential Functions\nLead and mentor junior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment\nPerform complex installations of antennas, transmission lines, and other wireless equipment\nConduct site audits and create detailed documentation of existing equipment and configurations\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues with cellular equipment and supporting infrastructure\nOperate rigging equipment and assist in tower reinforcement projects\nMaintain detailed logs of all work performed and complete required documentation\nEnsure compliance with all safety protocols and OSHA regulations\n\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum 2 years of tower climbing and maintenance experience\nValid driver's license with clean driving record\nStrong understanding of wireless telecommunications systems and equipment\nAbility to lift and carry up to 70 pounds\nComfortable working at heights\nProficient in using hand and power tools\nStrong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with multiple carrier equipment types (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile)\nKnowledge of fiber optic systems and testing procedures\nCurrent certifications in:\nTower Climbing Safety and Rescue\nRF Awareness\nFirst Aid/CPR\nOSHA 10-Hour Safety\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to climb towers and work at extreme heights\nCapable of lifting, carrying, and manipulating heavy equipment\nMust be able to work in various weather conditions\nPhysical stamina for extended periods of climbing and working overhead\nGood balance and hand-eye coordination\n\nWorking Conditions\nRegular exposure to heights, outdoor weather conditions, and physical hazards\nTravel required to various site locations (up to 75% travel may be required)\nOn-call rotation for emergency repairs\nWork schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays\nMust be able to work in all weather conditions\n\nBenefits\nPaid Time Off & Sick Leave\n100% employer paid medical insurance\n100% employer paid dental insurance\n401K\n401K match program\nReferral program of $500\nCompany gatherings and socials\n\nOngoing training and certification opportunities\n\nNRCI Telecom is an equal opportunity employer.
