Shipping tasks include picking, packaging, and shipment of orders.\nProduction tasks include material handling, machine operation, utilizing the RF Units, labeling, and packaging of product. Associate must practice GMP and follow SOP’s.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.\n\nShipping:\nPrepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer\nrequirements\nCheck inventory to verify availability of needed stock\nNotify the Supervisor of shortages\nPackage and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted\nmethods/practices\nMaintain product stock in work area\nStock shelves in the warehouse\nMonitor packaging material supplies and notify the Supervisor when materials get to the\nrestocking point\n\nReceiving:\nReceive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with\npurchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment\nSort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received\nInspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects, and notify the Supervisor of findings\nResponsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items\nStock shelves in the warehouse\nOperate dolly and/or pallet jack in loading and unloading material\nOperate shrink-wrap machine\n\nProduction Material Handling:\nRead work orders and verify the material matches the work order\nVerify all numbers match the work order\nNotify the Supervisor of problems with the orders\nFollow work order instructions\nPut away new material when it arrives from Receiving\nProcess and package shipments for customers handled by Production in accordance with\nthe pick ticket and customer requirements.\n\nProduction Labeling & Packaging:\nPrepare labels for shipment in accordance with the work order and customer\nrequirements\nCheck labels to verify the quantity is correct.\nNotify the Supervisor of shortages\nLabel and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices\nMaintain product stock in work area\nMonitor labeling material supplies and notify the Supervisor when supply is running low\nOrganize work orders and verify they are correct with the item being labeled\nRead work orders and verify the material they are pulling for packaging matches the work\norder\nVerify all numbers match the work order\nNotify the Supervisor of problems with the orders\nAdjust work orders as required when the material is short, according to the work order\nFollow work order instructions, regarding changes of quantity to be sent\nFollow work order instructions and requests for custom accounts (how to be packed per\nbox size and quantity per box)\nFollow special instructions for applying outer box labels\n\nMISCELLANEOUS DUTIES\nSpecial Projects Assist in companywide activities associated with the department.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nN/A\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
