{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"bc1b512ff790965e6f3c120c","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/bc1b512ff790965e6f3c120c","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/bc1b512ff790965e6f3c120c","title":"Electrical Co-Op Program","description":"Posted Friday, April 24, 2026 at 4:00 AM\r\nPurpose\r\nPartner with campuses with electrical programs to assist them with ensuring appropriate classroom training is provided to students to whom Thunder Basin Coal Company (TBCC) could provide part-time, on-the-job training, with the ultimate goal of developing candidates with the skills to be hired into an electrician role at TBCC.\r\nEligibility Guidelines\r\nParticipants will be at least 18 years of age\r\nParticipants will be enrolled in school full-time (typically, at least 12 credit hours)\r\nParticipants will be enrolled in an industrial electronics program (or similar program to prepare students for a career as an electrician)\r\nParticipants must maintain a grade of C or better in each class\r\nProgram\r\nParticipants will receive on-the-job training in electrical work by carded electricians.\r\nParticipants will work at TBCC during breaks, weekends, or other times they are available.\r\nParticipants will receive Tech1 wages ($28.00) for time worked at TBCC.\r\nParticipants will be reimbursed for each semester's tuition costs (except cost of books, which are not reimbursed), provided the following conditions are met:\r\nSubmission of grade report, with grade of C or better in each class\r\nSubmission of itemized receipt\r\nParticipants may be considered for full-time employment, after completion of the following:\r\nRequirements for Associate's degree in Industrial Electronics or similar program, with grade of C or better in all classes.\r\nSuccessful performance in the on-the-job training at TBCC. Performance includes work quality and quantity, attendance, and other behavioral indicators such as communication, safety, teamwork, etc.\r\nParticipants will be required to repay tuition paid by the company if they turn down an offer of regular employment.\r\nParticipants will be required to repay tuition paid by the company if they leave employment prior to completion of one year of employment.
