SQL Admin with Power BI

Location:Charlotte, NCSalary Range:Competitive IntroductionThe Enterprise BI Technology (EBIT) team is seeking a professional to support the SSRS to Power BI Report Server (PBIRS) migration initiative and ongoing platform growth. This role will focus on supporting the PBIRS environment, managing the underlying SQL Server databases, and assisting with platform scalability as additional nodes and users are onboarded. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL Server administration and report server operations and be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, production support environment.Required Skills & Qualifications6 years of SQL Server administration experienceHands-on experience supporting SSRS and/or Power BI Report ServerStrong knowledge of SQL Server Agent, jobs, and schedulingExperience monitoring and troubleshooting SQL Server performanceProficiency with T-SQL for querying and diagnostics as well as understanding of Windows Server services and permissionsPreferred Skills & QualificationsExperience supporting Power BI Report Server (PBIRS) in a scale out or high usage environmentWorking knowledge of SSRS to PBIRS migration patternsFamiliarity with monitoring tools for SQL Server and reporting workloadsExperience supporting enterprise BI platforms in a regulated or large scale environmentExposure to Power BI Service or cloud BI platformsAbility to document operational processes and troubleshooting stepsExperience working in Agile or ITIL based support modelsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and escalate issues appropriatelyGood verbal and written communication skillsBachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldPrior work experience at client or in client's IndustryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesSupport the SSRS to PBIRS migration initiativeManage the underlying SQL Server databasesAssist with platform scalability as additional nodes and users are onboardedFor immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process.
