Senior Accountant
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a high‑performing finance team in a growth‑oriented organization. This role plays a critical part in monthly close, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives, offering meaningful exposure to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, advanced analytical capabilities, and a forward‑thinking approach to improving financial processes and systems.Core ResponsibilitiesOversee monthly accounting close activities, including timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.Prepare, review, and analyze complex general ledger reconciliations to ensure compliance and accuracy.Research, investigate, and resolve general ledger discrepancies; respond to internal inquiries with clear, data‑driven explanations.Analyze financial results to identify trends and variances, supporting key estimates such as accruals and reserves.Create and distribute custom financial reports, leveraging data visualization tools to enhance insight and decision‑making.Lead and support ad hoc analysis and reporting tied to broader finance and business initiatives.Build and maintain advanced financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning.Monitor performance against annual budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations.Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions as needed.Partner with cross‑functional teams on the implementation and integration of new financial systems and tools.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.Five or more years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a fast‑paced, evolving organization.Strong knowledge of accounting systems and ERP platforms, including data import/export functionality.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience implementing process enhancements or system improvements.Prior involvement in financial system implementations or major upgrades.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team‑oriented environment.CompensationSalary Range: $75,000 – $105,000
