Parts ManagerFord Square of Mt. Vernon is seeking an experienced Parts Manager with a proven background in automotive dealership parts operations. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands dealership processes, inventory control, retail and wholesale parts sales, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.The Parts Manager will oversee all daily operations of the Parts Department, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate inventory management, strong team leadership, and seamless support of the service and sales departments.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay (based on experience)Flexible working hoursHealth, life, vision, dental, and disability insurancePTO & sick leave401(k) after one yearPaid training and manufacturer certificationsKey ResponsibilitiesDirect and manage day-to-day operations of the Parts DepartmentOversee retail, wholesale, and internal parts sales processes from start to finishOrder, receive, stock, and maintain accurate inventory levelsSource and procure parts not currently in stockManage special-order parts and provide timely updates to customers and staffSupport service technicians and advisors with accurate parts identification and timely fulfillmentConduct inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkageEnsure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and industry regulationsMaintain high levels of customer satisfaction and promptly resolve concernsRecruit, train, schedule, and supervise parts department personnelSet department goals, manage budgets, and implement growth strategiesDevelop and maintain wholesale parts accounts to increase revenueServe as liaison with manufacturer representatives and stay current on policy and warranty updatesEnforce all company safety standards and operational proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious automotive dealership experience requiredMinimum of 3 years' experience in a dealership parts and/or service departmentStrong knowledge of automotive parts, inventory systems, and dealership operationsExperience with dealership parts management and inventory softwareRetail and wholesale parts experience preferredDemonstrated leadership and team management abilityExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredProfessional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethicFord Square of Mt.
