In joining the Amway North America (ANA) Data & Analytics crew — the team that helps transform business questions into reliable insights, dashboards, models, and decision support, you’ll serve as the functional data engineering partner who helps make sure the right data is in the right place, with the right structure, quality, and business meaning for the people who depend on it.\n\nIf analysts and business partners are building the “aha!” moments, you’re helping build the launchpad. You’ll partner with Technology, Analytics, Data Science, and business stakeholders to design, validate, document, and maintain data flows that connect enterprise and market-specific sources to the ANA analytics data layer. You’ll improve data accessibility, lineage, governance, scalability, and quality so teams can move faster, trust what they’re using, and spend more time answering questions like what changed, why it matters, and where we go next.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nMonitor and maintain data pipelines to ensure accurate, reliable, and high-quality data.\nInvestigate and resolve data quality issues, system failures, and data synchronization challenges.\nPartner with analysts and technical teams to productionize and scale data solutions.\nReview, optimize, and maintain code to support performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.\nManage version control processes and evaluate the impact of data and code changes before deployment.\nHelp define and uphold data governance standards and engineering best practices.\nTransform complex, raw data into trusted datasets that enable business insights.\n\nRequired qualifications:\n\nMinimum 3 - 5 years’ experience with database management or data operations\nExperience with data engineering or a related field\nDemonstrated experience translating business and technical requirements into data structures, data flows, or reusable analytics-ready datasets\nBA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field\n\nSkills to be successful in the role:\n\nStrong working knowledge of SQL, relational data structures, data modeling concepts, data validation, and business intelligence data needs\nExperience cleansing, standardizing, transforming, and structuring data into governed, reusable data assets for analytics\nAbility to collaborate with Technology partners on ingestion, raw data layers, source-system availability, access patterns, and scalable data solutions\nUnderstanding of data governance, data quality controls, lineage, documentation, access standards, and repeatable processes that support trusted enterprise use\nConsultative mindset to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions, and translate business questions into fit-for-purpose data products that analysts and stakeholders can use consistently\n\nWhat’s special about this team:\n\nThe ANA Data & Analytics team is a tight, hardworking crew of about 7 who love turning big questions into smart, usable insights — and yes, we’re known to bond over the occasional team treat. We partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Technology, and other cross-functional friends to create data, reports, dashboards, and tools that help Independent Business Owners (IBOs) share, sell, and shine with our products.\n\nOn this team, you’ll get hands-on exposure to a wide variety of complex data challenges, business partners, and platforms — the kind of variety that keeps things interesting and opens the door to real growth. This role sits right at the center of how ANA turns raw data into trusted answers, helping analysts, dashboard developers, and business partners move faster with consistent, governed data. It’s a team where you learn fast, collaborate often, celebrate the wins, and enjoy the kind of camaraderie that makes the work feel meaningful.\n\nThis role is not eligible for sponsorship.\n\nActual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.
