We are looking for a candidate that is positive, self-motivated, detailed oriented, and can be a quality leader on our staff.\n\nJob Specifications:\nStarting Wage: $24.15/hr - $41.05/hr\nEmployment Type: Year Round\nShift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available\nMinimum Age: At least 18 years of age\nHousing Availability: No\n\nJob Responsibilities:\nProvide preventative and predictive maintenance of electrical systems, conduct daily rounds and readings.\nPerform successful installation and repair of electrical systems and wiring including but not limited to power distribution systems, LED lighting systems, control systems, control panels, components of machinery and equipment, data and low voltage systems.\nComplete daily work orders as assigned and update team with daily reports outlining progress and new issues.\nMaintain inventories of electrical materials.\nParticipate in winterization and spring start-ups on applicable systems.\nTroubleshoot problems and provide technical assistance to staff in solving maintenance, mechanical and repair problems.\nEnsure that work complies with applicable codes and regulations.\nRead diagrams, blueprints, specifications and manuals for installations and repairs.\nInterprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.\nEstablishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.\nRecommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.\nSuggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or techs.\nAnalyzes and resolves work problems or assists techs in solving work problems.\nInitiates or suggests plans to motivate techs to achieve work goals.\nUse standard office equipment including a computer in the course of work\nOther duties as assigned\n\nJob Requirements:\n4 years electrical trade school; Journeyman with 2 years minimum hands-on commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred\nDemonstrated ability to perform a wide variety of maintenance and operational tasks.\nAbility to troubleshoot controls and electrical systems with amp meters, voltmeters, tracers and recording devices.\nAbility to read electrical schematics, electrical prints, wiring diagrams and nameplates.\nAbility to troubleshoot variable frequency drive (VFD) devices and controls.\nThorough understanding of low voltage and high voltage systems.\nThorough understanding of single phase and three phase AC circuits.\nUnderstanding of electrical, NEC or NFPA 70 codes.\nValid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.\nAbility to determine problems and effectively manage/troubleshoot issues in a timely fashion.\nMust possess willingness to work as a team member and aid the overall needs of the department.\nAbility to communicate effectively and clearly with customers and all levels of staff.\nProficient computer skills in programs necessary to accomplish assigned duties.\nVisual acuity necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures for reporting, computer terminal use and reading.\nAbility to perform physical activities that include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.\nAbility to use ladders, scaffolding, and/or scissor lift while performing duties.\nPossess high degree of sensitivity to accepted workplace safety practices.\nMust be able to perform heavy work (defined as exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects).\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
